I tried the new alt-tastic registration, cause I'm FIC and I need to know, and I got this mail back... From: someone Welcome to Second Life! I know we're waiting for all the bells and whistles to kick in.... but is this the real deal? That's the same sort of silliness that I ran into last year when I signed up for Premium. For some reason even when you've signed up for a premium account, you still get the silly 7 day trial. I seem to remember though, that there's some way to skip that, and get your premium account to start imediately. Don't remember what it is anymore though. BTW, "Morning Wood", that's a good one, you were lucky to get that before someone else did.  |

Crap, went to make one, but the system wasn't in place, so I quit making the account, and now the name is stuck in-use by the system. So much for Flying Dinosaur.

Err You go into account status and change it before logging in - sorta like the email said. It is active immediately |

Maybe you should have included a warning in your announcement. Something along the line of, From: Chris Linden For the next few days please don’t be surprised if you see either the old registration form or the new form. While we investigate early results of the new registration system we will likely be tuning it off, updating it, and turning it back on throughout the next few days.

Contact LL Support. They will send you an e-mail containing a link you can use to continue that registration where you left off. I did something similar, and they did that for me.
