The leaderboard on the website has someone making 2148976104 (that's billions) in a week. Is that even remotely possible? The other leaderboard people only have 15-26 million each.

my suspicion is, the board is broken.
earlier in the week, the "change this week" board was entirely populated with avatars with numeric first names, and dollar amounts of $0. that was wierd, but not nearly as wierd as this extremely unlikely number. _____________________

By the look of that, off the top of my head, that number seems to look a hell of a lot like 2^31 -- which suggests an integer overflow, or something to that effect. Definetely a bug.

No, but from what I can remember when the Lindens bothered to update their statistics, the median $L in one's account was around $L1000. $L1000 times 70,000 residents = $L70,000,000. Now of course that's a median, so you're going to have people with significantly more, and significantly less, than that number. So $L70,000,000 is not even close to what we have. But, even if we quintuple that amount, that's only $L350,000,000. We're talking about 2.5 BILLION Linden dollars. I don't think the SL economy has grown substantially to be worth around $9 million US in total net worth just in currency. Even monthly transactions only equal $2 million US or so, but that's with the same money changing hands. LF _____________________
