looks like the 160 bux i sent linden last month will be put to better use next month because i don't plan on giving them another dime. they will eventually come on here and ban me and my account but i don't care. SL was a great place to be and i tried to make it better by building nice builds and making friends but there are a few on here who only profit and cause others grief and for them i shall just walk away and surrender like everyone else was forced to do. so to linden labs sorry for all the trouble i caused and good day.

What did you pay the 160 bucks for? A land purchase direct from the Lindens to the Lindens? Or did you buy from another user?

If you mean a hundred and sixty dollar a month tier payment you could have a island for that monthly payment.

If you tell Anshe Chung or Prokofy Neva or the Azure Island people you are wanting a hundred and sixty dollars a month worth of land I suspect they could find you something you would like, and they will take care of the view for you in that price.

My first post on Forum.

Shame on most of you older citizens of SL. Belittling a good friend and neighbor. Oh, and there is nothing compelling you to read this. You seem to enjoy what you are posting about this subject which Lindens have done nothing to alleviate.

Daltry is/was a good neighbor and helped my gf and me even when he was busy. He has a right to be upset and angry. You would be too if you had the signs on the ground and up in the air abutting your nice homes. He was only trying to get some help to thwart this sign guy who loves grafitti and annoying ppl.

Trying to buy the sign guy out or reason with him is futile. The two little plots of land he bought and erected his signs on are now selling for 32K, his asking price. Extortion!!!!

So all you wise knowing veterans of SL I think you are belittling the wrong person here. And, shame on you again.

I would think you should be supporting him to get the Lindens to do something about this very real problem. You may not encounter it since you know all the ins and outs of this game. But new ppl will and do.

I for one will miss you Daltry. And support what you were trying to do.

Just because it's been going on for a long time and has had lots of exposure doesn't make it "old news". Since it's still going on, it's current news.

And if everyone shuts up about it, just because some people are tired of hearing about it, then there is no hope for the situation changing. The only way that LL is going to take action is when they get tired of the squeaking ....

so ...

everyone ....squeak away!!

Just for the record, my personal view is that LL doesn't need any justification to take any action they want, and that what they should want is to make this guy and his signs go away. Before their inaction makes everyone /else/ go away.

I would think you should be supporting him to get the Lindens to do something about this very real problem. You may not encounter it since you know all the ins and outs of this game. But new ppl will and do. I for one will miss you Daltry. And support what you were trying to do. Tony

This is old news and does not need to be discusses anymore. Just because it's been going on for a long time and has had lots of exposure doesn't make it "old news". Since it's still going on, it's current news. And if everyone shuts up about it, just because some people are tired of hearing about it, then there is no hope for the situation changing. The only way that LL is going to take action is when they get tired of the squeaking .... so ... everyone ....squeak away!! Just for the record, my personal view is that LL doesn't need any justification to take any action they want, and that what they should want is to make this guy and his signs go away. Before their inaction makes everyone /else/ go away.
