I have become disenchanted with sl lately with the closing of the forums and other things. I am selling my small plot of land and logging in infrequently. Hi Misty, it was wonderful seeing you in San Francisco. Best wishes all and good night.

Sorry to see you go ... but sadly I don't think you'll be the last one who feels like that.

Ha! Choices made regarding how one's money and time are spent as an example of survival of the fittest? What a hoot!

I hear ya, Essence, be well.

No it doesn't, unless you read it with extreme preconceptions. It was an understated, non-dramatic and sincere-sounding statement, read normally.

Essence, best wishes, and it's always saddening to read someone has become disillusioned to the point they wish to leave SL, even if you don't know them.

Take care, Essence, you've always been a fun person to be around. Take a break and see if the itch comes back. :)

Remind me one last time of where you keep the photos you took years back of the sims? :)

Regards,

Wow with talent like yours you should take up psychology.

Good luck Essence, things might seem different in a few months time.

Actually, Essence isn't the only one to feel that way lately. I'm not blaming it on the forum closing, but that sure as hell didn't help. A lot of LL decisions in the past 6 months have struck me as throwing the baby out with the bathwater, despite their protestations to the contrary.

I'm sticking around, but my heart isn't in it as it once was. Give me another six months and leaving might be even more appealing, the way things are going.

Good luck Essence. When good folks leave, it does lower the quality of the SL world. One soul at a time.

So it's possible you won't be around to grief the next anniversary celebration?

Which makes someone who has been left behind and has somehow managed to convince themselves that they are victorious and the fittest appear to be an utter fool.

Good Luck Essence. I hope that just taking a break will be enough and you'll come back. I do know how you feel though, I feel the same way sometimes. I noticed you had a pic of the haunted house we did last year "superior". It's nice to know that was part of your SL memories. Its a perfect example of how much things have changed though, we had over 1000 people come through the house and if we did it again this year, I'm afraid it would be ruined by greifers, packet loss, lag and textures not loading. Boy it sure was fun to have the ability to do that then, and I'm so glad you were there.
Take Good Care,

I loved looking at your pics, ty for sharing. It sure made me nostalgic for the old days in SL. Come back after you take a break from all this! katy
