I was amazed when I saw the videos posted on the forums... but this one especially inspired me, it made my heart pound and had I not already been a member of Second Life, I would have joined... in fact I felt like rejoining... wow , just wow.... I can't even explain what I want to say...

Awesome fucking video! This needs to be aired on Television.

It is a great video. :)

I was excited to see that he used a still of Neualtenburg right at the beginning of the film. It's the shot with the two blimps in the sky. (The blimps had political ads on them from when we were holding our elections.)

I agree 100% Sensual! I have watched that particular trailer quite a few times now. My hubby was even impressed and he has never looked twice at SL (except when I go to the strip clubs :p ) . While I think *all* the submitted trailers were great. This one *really really* grabbed me. Whether it "wins" the competition or not, I seriously hope LL puts this trailer to good use! :D

Just grinned my way through that video! If I'd smiled any wider the top two thirds of my head would've toppled off!

Completely. Utterly. Awesome.

Agree. As much as I hate this game sometimes (because of some people's attitudes) it made me feel like running home and firing up SL.

Great job!

A couple of others were actually also pretty good, but the sound quality really dropped them a couple of notches.

Yeah, I really love this trailer. For the intended purpose of getting people excited enough to want to sign up I thought Javier's was the most compelling. The quality is top notch, especially the titles. Great editing job. I've watched it a half dozen times.

I stream it into my land from secondlife.com just in case visitors haven't gotten a chance to see it :)

Same here. I really really liked that video, especially the sighting of Jessica's giant chess set at Burning Life.

It's a really great video, very professionally done and makes me wanna play SL, and I'm a paying customer. :p

My only nitpick is that like all other movies it shows a lot of activities that look fast paced, smooth and fun that in reality aren't really that way due to SL's sluggishness. Not doing that of course makes for a boring video, but it's that kinda thing that I saw before exploring SL and I was pretty dissapointed when I found that it really wasn't true at all, as are many others.

Not really something fixable, just a little personal gripe about just about -all- SL videos. :p That's not to say I don't think it's awesome anyway though! :)

This was my favorite video as well, though it suffered through a severe deficiency of Me. I think the contest should be temporarily suspended, while each of the contestants inserts no less than 90 frames about me.

It's for the good of the grid, folks.

Wow! just wow.... this is awesome. I agree, this should be a TV commercial. If this wouldn't get people excited about SL, nothing would. I watch this and all I can think is, damn, I'm so thrilled to be a part of this world... great work, Javier!

I was going to post something in the "You know you've been in SL too long" thread about this particular trailer because I get seriously teary-eyed whenever I watch it.

This was my favorite video out of all of them.

I did get a laugh at the GOM portion of the video showing the graph going down and down and down... :P

More cats not being shot out of a cannon perhaps?

Fantastic video, it's my desktop screen saver at work. Made a co-worker sign up and try SL and he has never played or tried any online anything hehe.
