If someone did something like this of me when I died, I'd find it funny, especially if I died in an ironic way. I bet he would too;)

I see double meaning... the literal dark side, and a little sentimental sadness if one was a fan.

So, for it's multi-purpose message... I give it a thumb up!

I'm the first to jump on the bad-taste-jokes bandwagon when it comes to icons dying or somesuch horror, even if I like them, but it strikes me somehow that most of the people I know (myself included) have all cried 'too soon!' when the Irwin jokes started coming out.

It is too soon. And good on the man that something about him makes my normally childish humour hold back for a little while longer :)

(And this is the girl that tells the 'what's worse than finding a worm in your apple' joke at family gatherings...)

OMG, im deeply disgusted and sadened.

i knew Steve Irwin on a personal note and he was a great man. talk to him on a person level for 5 minitues and youll agree with me. He had an unconditional love for his family, and will be missed my Terri, Bindi and thier newborn sun, who shall never know how great his dad really was.

He did nothing but a world of good for worldwide wildlife and enducation. Building Australias number one educational wildlife facility.

For someone like yourself, to come in with this kind of immature, stupidity and disrespect sends a message to myself and i hope to others that you are a horrible person. now im sure if i talked to you for 5 mins id probably change my mind on this. as im sure you really are nice. But this display really sadns me to a verp personal level.

I send my deepest condolences to all that knew Steve and all that will never know how greta he really was.

now now, none of that stuff is dampened by this picture. I agree it was in poor taste but it's not like she was insulting him.

This is an insult, Forums are closing, so im really gonna go at it. Steve Irwin deserves nothing but respect for everything he has done to help tis messed up world we live in. After a tragic death, we should do nothing more than celebrate his life. Not joke over his cause of death.

Well I disagree. Nothing's above joking about and from what I know of him I think he'd appreciate laughter as opposed to crying and moaning. So whatever.

It probably is a bit too soon, but it's funny, definately dark humor. I was truely saddened to hear about his untimely albeit not too surprising death.

He went the way he lived, it is fitting maybe.

I am most sad for his wife and kids.

Well sure it's a tasteless joke, but really no worse than what we heard after Sonny Bono's and Michael Kennedy's skiing accidents.
