I have been ARing every single post I can get to today and I don't care who knows it.

So I wasn't going to bother appealing this for reasons I'll get to in a moment, but as I took the time to try and track down what in particular it was I had said that offended someone I became more and more intrigued. This email claims that my offending post was edited to remove the offensive content, but as I searched and searched and ultimately went through each post I've made by hand to figure it out I kept coming up empty.

Until I happened to check the post I had made a few hours ago in the SL Answers thread.

Now, I'm not disagreeing that I said some things in the last week that someone could take offense to; with the announcement of the forum's hypocritical destruction most of us have taken the "who the fuck cares about moderation" approach. To be honest I expected at least something telling me I was approaching the line. So this is why initially I was content to archive the warning email and go on with my life.

Until I figured out which post offended you. After your announcement about the password vulnerabilities I saw that a host of "WHY CAN'T I LOG IN??" questions went into SL Answers. So I figured I'd be helpful and let everyone know in caps lock why their passwords no longer worked, and get a dig in about the failure of a blog to pass news alerts around in general while I had the opportunity.

Apparently the phrase "blogs suck butt" offended whichever Linden read it.

Don't have the audacity to tell me though that I was "communicating with another Resident using offensively coarse, intimidating or threatening language" when that wasn't the case. The fact that I and everyone else has been posting consistently vocal things the past week which no one felt like touching, yet the first time I post something in the Sacred Linden Forest it's deleted, hidden and covered up with a finger wagging, is disgusting.

So, I demand a full explanation about this and an admittance that you and your moderators operate with the highest level of favoritism when it comes to dishing out punishments. I want the warning adjusted to reflect the fact that I have not threatened any resident at all, and my record to contain this email. I want it to be made clear that a general statement about the asinine blog plan apparently upset a moderator, NOT a resident, and they felt it necessary to censure it.

I will not tolerate your corporate doublespeak, your false assurances that you agree with me and are looking into ways for improvement, I demand candid, clear and respectable English of the type you'd email your mother and father. Do not disrespect me by condescending me or I assure you I will bring the full brunt of my desire to crack your shallow "punishment" system to bear against Linden Labs in general that thus far I've managed to keep securely in check.

I expect an immediate response to this as soon as you settle up with your exploit debacle.

This was sent to abuse, CC'd to support and every single Linden listed on the blog.

My Alt was given the same kind of warning. I was on my own store property when a girl came up and started to put posters for her event all over my property. I aksed the girl if she had received approval from the store owner (me) to do this.

She said ya.

I logged off my alt, came back in as the store owner and confronted her asking her to please remove her things. She went off on me... cussing, calling me a bitch, swearing to sic the "mafia" on me. I banned her from the land and returned all her shit.

She turned in my Alt for hassassing her and for tattling to the land owner on her!

Gimme a break!

You're lucky. I just made one little thread about what I would like to do to the Lindens for all the screwing up they obviously enjoy doing, and I get my first warning, with a 3 day ban. Their incompetency is too obvious. It can even be seen from space. When they go from one screw up to another, they should expect getting their virtual butts kicked.

I think a lot of people will feel this way now, especially afetr their latest fuck up. Who on earth thinks a 9-6 Monday to Friday customer service would be ok for a 24/7 business. Even 9-5 businesses have 24/7 helpines and customer support. We should formally declare the god of cock ups as Linden.

I can't believe:

1. There are people still ARing right now.
   
2. There are people still moderating right now.

They should just give up on all that. Then it would mean the Lindens would have to do something more than just telling us to check crappy blogs.

My guess - a few hours. Just enough time for them to make false promises, tell everyone to be patient, and click the close button on the forums, before going home for the weekend completly ignoring us. GET YOUR THREATS AND INSULTS IN NOW!

"Blogs suck balls" is probably the most demure thing ever to come out of my head, certainly in response to the forum closure. I demand better!

I think if you have Difficulty Choosing one stand out Moment, it's a Good time to reevaluate your whole approach. Since people in the Forums believe ARs are never acted upon Etc. then what you DID say/do must have been Preaty Heinous, and it SHOULD stand out in Anyones Mind.
