Seeing as I'm unfamiliar with this board's setup, I'm not too sure if you can pick multiple choices in a poll, but I figure I'd toss this question out and then maybe add a poll later on.
The question is already pretty straightforward, What does your $L go into? I'm not talking about sinks like ratings / content uploads and such, more of what merchandise / services do you spend your $L on? It'd be neat to see a numerical poll to see which market is more lucrative.

The last thing I think I actually bought for myself in-game was a pair of Moopf roller-skates for $50, and a bunch of trees from Khamon Fate..... because I thought they both were amazingly cool.
Most of whatever cash I have of my own gets rolled into operating the Shelter. _____________________

I don't earn any money inworld, but I do have a pretty good sized linden balance from the proceeds of the land I sold. I don't buy much. What I do buy is appearance items - clothes and skins. I'd buy some hair but the alpha problems in prim hair and the fact that it doesn't flow reduce it's attractiveness to the point I don't want to spend the money on it.

It'd be neat to see a numerical poll to see which market is more lucrative. A peek in the classifieds forums may save you a poll. Atleast by the manner in which you categorized your markets. Itemizing and separating your "Avatars / avatar accessories" category a bit further might make for a more interesting, and less predictable poll. |

Wow.. I'm not really sure, as I'm so bad with shopping that I subconsciously buy things off reflex actions and don't even realize it until I'm sorting through my inventory a few days later.
I would have to venture a guess to say that most of it goes toward clothes- most of which goes to waste because I only end up using usually 1 component of each set when putting together my outfits.. kind of like buying a whole Mercedes because you really could use those leather seat covers.. Some L$ goes towards skins, a smaller amount goes toward hair, and the rest I give away to polite newbies.I've gotten a lot better with my "condition" though, as I've pried my right-mouse button out, preventing me from accessing the pie menu Buy button. |

I spend my L$ on US$ in a desperate attempt to break even on the server space I pay for every month, and to help out newbies who are nice and may some day be a plus for our community.

I hardly ever shop in SL. About once every couple (or few) weeks I'll go out and buy skins, hair, shoes and maybe jewelry if I've seen some cool stuff posted to the New Products forums over the couple weeks since my last shopping spree. Usually I only spend money on things I can't ,or don't have the patience to, make myself.

I like to buy weird and unsual things. I don't buy a lot of clothes because I make my own and my style is really different than what most other designers make. Though I find pieces to complement my style from time to time. hehe..

I've accumluated about L$45,000 in stipends and bonuses at this point. Besides land, the only two things I can remember ever buying are my VERTU tuxedo and a Space Ghost costume. So I guess the answer is clothes.

I'll drop about 100-500L for events like Primtionary, Live Music, and just about anything that can't run via scripting alone. I like SL for the people I have bought skins though and love games and "cool" objects. The fact the PM has a ton of my money is simply a glitch. |
