I bet I could do a chair that when touched, rezzed a hammer and made a noise. Actually, if they've got a hammer on top of them, you don't need an animation anyway because you can't see them...

I have a completely different take on the whole camping chair issue...

If EVERYONE gets a mouseclicker program and camping chairs are occupied 24/7 (Don't gamble on the games tho, that's the key), eventually the buggers who use them will go broke and the stupid things will go away.

But I'm willing to be a target until they do!

I don't get what the point of even having the chairs is if you don't like mouse jiggling programs. If you have the chairs there then you should plan on giving out the money. If not, don't place so many chairs.

Though the mafia dons and giovanni princesses that sit in those things aren't going to want to go there if they think they might get shot which will hurt their thug-dom or whatever.

I've always thought it would be a good idea to use something like tokens.. instead of money in camping chairs. Give tokens out for sitting in your chairs -- that can only be used at your stores.

Then when they buy stuff at the stores (with tokens) the owner of the chair converts the tokens to $L to give to the vendors who the customer bought off of.

Plus, if you are the owner of the chair AND the store.. it will give you more dwell without cashing out of a lot of $$ for people camping.

1. Solves the popular place issue because the best vendors will have the most people.
2. Keeps $$ in SL and circulating.
3. Gets people motivated again to create stuff, instead of camping for $$.

Well, you'd have to call them "Campies" or something to avoid being sued by whoever owns the assets of Psygnosis this week.

Can you imagine a row of campers all putting their hands up to their heads that the same time, crying out "Oh no!" "Oh no!" "Oh no!" ... and exploding?

I dunno why we're bothing to brainstorm a better moneychair, after January 1st they'll all be gone because the dwelloper incentives will be completely gone and thus dwell along with it. Basicly this means the chairs will no longer serve a purpose for the land owners and will be removed to minimize profit loss. It seems Dwellnoir has abandoned its followers.
