Wow, what a hectic two years. So many names and faces have changed! I'm not sure if any of my old compadres are here or not, but maybe, if you're reading this, you're one of them!
So, I did the most frightening thing. Faced Cancer, chemotherapy, and triumphed. That's where I've been. I'm in remission now, and back in my own home, resuming life, in the first and 'second tense.'
Unfortunately, because of my long absense, everything I had was deleted. My inventory, my money, my land, even my Avatar! I'm a charter member who has been here since beta and paid for a lifetime account so I didn't expect this, but the Lindens have been kind enough to reinstate my account (My name was the only thing only reserve, that and my charter membership.)
So, I'm a newbie again. It's so strange, I went from being a prominent self-made gown designer with over 200,000 Linden dollars, to homeless peseant. But I don't mind, I am just happy to be back in my own second skin! Thank you Lindens!
Now I'm looking for a home, and as I can tell, along with coutless others who have no place of their own. We sort of roam from event to event with out L$250 and I am making my dresses in the sandbox now. Many people may still have pieces from my old collections, the Goddess Collection, the flower inspired collection, the Victorian Gothic collection. I hope they survived all the transitions that have occured.
My shop was in Zoe, but now the sims that were once my home are all owned by corporations, and are primarily empty *heartbreak* and finding land in a PG sim (my preference) is practically impossible. If someone finds they have land available in Perry, Natoma, Zoe or Clara please let me know, I'd like to rebuild my boutique.
I'm so glad to be back and I hope everyone has had a good first life as well as Second. I am looking forward to seeing everyone!

Phaylen, wow, congratulations on your remission! I remember you from a LONG time ago when you had land right behind our original D&D Dogs store in Clara/Perry. At the time I also had my music store there called The Travelling Minstrel.

Phaylen, I have alot of your dresses I will never forget you when I was looking to dress up!! I too am going thru Chemo be strong and it will be a thing of the past. Fey too was the first to dress me up with formal things I love her stuff as well.
Alot has changed yes but with your talent and all the friends you do have that are still here and believe me there are alot here, you will get venders in alot of places and be back on top again in no time at all. Meanwhile enjoy your old friends and new ones and make more dresses and please put your other stuff out too because I still wear them at formal's and people ask me where I got it, and I say LM doesnt work and I don't know now I am sorry, and am so glad you are back. Welcome back Phay! I don't wear dresses but I remember you from Zoe. It was mostly owned by the Codas group after Higbee moved the park to his estate sim. We hosted large build contests for a few months then broke up. Sulumor moved down there and Jarod & Ingie still live on the Clem border. I don't know who else is there now except of course for the sacred corner which has magically survived all these years.
I cannot believe your land was released and your stuff disappeared. I've talked to the Lindens several times about releasing lifetime land after six months of not logging in and been told "no" in no uncertain terms. I'm glad they reinstated you though and am very happy to know of your remission. You'll be back on your second feet in no time. _____________________

I still have incredibly fond memories of going to your store with some friends, buying out nearly all the dresses, then going to the telehub at the Welcome Area and scaring newbies. I still have several in my inventory if you would like any of them back for posterity. You may not think you made much of an impact or that people noticed you were gone, but you had an impact on me. When I saw your shop the first time, it inspired me, because at the time, nearly every clothing store just had the same boring slutty black is the new black crap that you still see today. The stuff you created was so unique, creative, and memorable.
