Were you the woman who mentioned SL at a Kevin Smith Q&A tonight in Red Bank, NJ?

I was out in Red Bank, NJ for a Netflix-sponsored viewing of "Clerks" with a preceding Q&A with director Kevin Smith.

2/3 the way through questions, a lady on line introduced herself as an "Internet advertising and marketing" person and asks Kevin:

1. Has his blogging impacted money and time spent on promotion of movies?
2. Has he considered using Second Life to do promotion?

(The answer to 2 - he hadn't. Ironically, a client of mine told me tonight that he spoke to Smith during ComicCon a few weeks ago and brought up that very notion.)

Anyway, I missed the woman's name, and while I probably know this person's avatar, I don't know who the avatar is.

Are you the woman? Who are you? If so, prove it by telling me something only someone at the event would know.

Why would he want to promote on SL? He has better things to do with his time. He is a friggin millionaire.

Could that woman script? Because if so, she's a man, right? :)

Kevin Smith is a pretty cool guy. I got to hang with him after Chasing Amy's release for a bit, as the girl I was dating at the time was the movie editor for our college's newspaper. It's funny, for a guy who plays "Silent Bob", you can't get the real Kevin Smith to shut up! He just keeps going and going and going.

Regards,

-Flip

I didn't know there was an innapropriate way to be clutched to a breast. Is that like upside down or something?

Kevin Smith once told me I had a great future as a comedy writer after reading one of my comedy bits. I was real proud of that until I saw "Jersey Girl" and realized his judgement might not be that keen.

Someone needs a lesson in sarcasm. Notice that lovely emoticon next to the comment? Two of the best scripters I know are female! :)

Re: Jersey Girl... so, he's not cut out to make non-humor pictures. I think he's realized he should stick to the known formula of dick and fart jokes.

I used to work in Red Bank for a couple years, and have met Kevin Smith a few times (actually saw him at the Monmouth Mall a couple weeks ago), but I wasn't the one who asked that question. :D

Do you like Pina Coladas and getting caught in the rain?
