OK, so PayPal does or -does not- take a huge bite out of what you send to your paypal account now?

Grats eBay/Paypal taking over as the Metaverse's official middleman!
This will be a whole lot of scratch for them ... I wonder if LL will release # of withdrawls to Paypal / month?

From: Hiro Pendragon I wonder if LL will release # of withdrawls okay.. I may just be in a bad mood tonight, and I've even seen Lindens do this, and I know I'm gonna get crap for this because last time I demeaned the substitution of "u" for "you", "8" for "-ate", "4" for "for" and contractions like "ppl" for "people" I got stalked and harrassed in-world for a good long time. But the word is withdrawals, with an "-als", as in renewals, and arrivals. (not "renewls" and "arrivls".) A "drawl" is a speech impediment. The act of withdrawing is a "withdrawal", not a "withdrawl". This one gets on my nerves almost as much as people who insert gratuitous apostrophes into words that don't need them, like plurals. (i.e., "my shop sells pet's and gun's".)

Nice... it's a rare day that someone gets me on a spelling mistake. In my defense, I'm on 2 1/2 hours sleep. +2 points Michi!

hey michi wuts up.
Can anyone confirm whether Paypal subtracts a fee when receiving a payment as a Premier member? I'm not clear on whether they do that to all my transactions or if it's just certain types of transactions.

I've got a Premier Paypal account and I've successfully had a withdrawal with this new system go through in less than a day - and there was no fee from Paypal. Thanks Lawrence for getting this system in place!

Thanks for confirming that Devyn! I'm glad to hear it's working and that there's no fee on the receiver's end. Does it cost LL to send using this method? If not, what's the $1 fee covering if the process is now automated?
