well to put it bluntly i have to agree...it's a change in policy to hide the fact that they don't reall care and ahve 'lost the plot' hoping we'll be sidetracked, not ralising that we've got it figured out and we KNOW they don't care anymore.
there have ben lots of occasions ive neede to use a forum to look something up, or give feedback, or ask a Q. How many of us know a good animator or designer or scripter inworld? The forums are neede to help ppl ESPECIALLY new ones SIR alan, i bow down to your greatness and expertise and will ask YOU any time i need a Q answering......that ok with you?
god i hate supercilious know all concieted tw*&'s

IMHO forums are big part of any game I play, lots of information and "gossip" can be found there I just started SL, and it's sad to see SL forums are going to be extinct? why? I hope someone from SL community make an alternate forum, run by ppl who play SL. I will be first one to register =) <3

The forums are redundant. Use the game itself. So, instead of engaging in social acts on a place that lets us interact when Second Life is inaccessible we should just...What? Stare at the Login Failed screen or run SL at our jobs? The forums are also a resource. That too will be gone once they are removed. There's a lot of shit here. Reams of it. I won't be sad at all to see that go, but talk about cutting off one's nose...

If the forums were full of "we love linden labs" then the forums would stay... But there are too many people here who don't, and it looks bad for LL when they troll for investors. Really really enjoy it. mental note: buy some champagne.
