LL has mismanaged the game and caused us untold grief countless times. They are closing some of the forums. Tier levels are too high. Their customer service sucks. Thousands of underaged troublemakers are coming on since a credit card is no longer required. The upgrades are disruptive. Lag is high and prim allowances are low. This password fiasco is the last straw. It's time to fight back!
Please join the boycott and ask everyone you know to do the same. We must all join together as one angry AV.

If you're serious about this, I would attempt to spread word in-world more than here. Here is only a tiny start given the number of people who don't read the forums.

Go for it though. Five hours with no gridlag? zomg the things I can build. Hah! I was thinking the same thing! You should be able to get some building done this weekend, too. Then again, at this moment there are 8,058 people on the grid who seem to have managed to change their passwords successfully, so maybe not. |

Okay aparently I've been getting the sh*t end of the stick... Since when with paying a month in advance are we getting unlimited access? It shouldn't matter how long I've been a paying customer but I don't recall EVER having that as a bonus, the unlimited crud. Unless of course you are refering to something else? o.O As for the boycot... I think until all this is done with, which by far, doesn't look like it will end merely Monday alone, I doubt there will be many people on at all. As for picking a day we are offline for most updates, yeah thats a smart move too ... Try a weekend afternoon or evening, where people May not have an actual life offline and will be able to help you, but be warned. Most of them will prolly be bugging you with ideas of what to do next since they will be bored off their butts. I'm bored just reading the forums as it is XD |

They've had to shut down the test grid, because it uses old passwords, so they won't want to release code without proper weekend beta-testing. They say they'll generate a new database when they get a chance. So the re-scheduled update for this coming Wednesday will be re-re-scheduled for the FOLLOWING Wednesday. Although, since it crashes on Wednesdays that don't have updates.... |
