Issues over renting land from a sim in SL

I'm going start off without any names or land names or anything like that. I don't want go around give people a bad name.

Also I have really bad English skills and well worse since this happened where I want to quit and kill this person

I found this guy who owns private sim. He was giving out 2 land spaces about 4k in size. Thats about 930 prims.

He basically said make something nice and be nice to the guests and such and that was about all.

After that I started play with land control and he got mad said next time if I ever want to edit the land I need him there to watch. Well after that problems just got worse he made new rules and new claims about me and my group. Apparently someone placed an item on someone else lot. The guys new but I got blamed for it all I mean anyone anywhere could just warp in and throw an item on a land. And like said it got worse. He forced me to sign a contract.

Now this parts great your going say how did he force you? well he would not refund me the 9k per 5 weeks I paid on the land witch apparently now people tell me thats way to much and he told me was going increase to 3k per week thats more then 50% increase.
So back to the how did he force me well he said if I don't sign it the end of the term I would lose my rental and space. So I'm using that new vendor system hat resets when its moved so right off the bat like err. That and I'm trying start a company and a home for my friends. heres the contract rules:
Termination of Lease: If you do these things this agreement is null.

-No Weapons testing
-Delete the 100 prims that are already on the land
-Excessive use of laggy scripts
-Respect the Residents
-No advertisements using the group names , Or its Clubs
-Abuse Of Residents ,Guests & Owners.

Now the thing is delete the 100 prims already on the land. when I signed this yes I'm smart there was no 100prims on the land. So I was in all my right like few days later he added 60 prims to the land to send them back I don't delete things thats wrong and should not even be in the game.

So now his contract made by his girlfriend now jipping me of the 930 prims to now 830.

So I talked to this other guy his name was BLANK owner of the land. So I asked him apparently they both split it I told him my story about whats going on. He said he would deal with it I would deal with him for now on. I told him about the prims he told me to delete them there being used for just the sky floor. Apparently this guy wanted that 100 prims later on cuz he was making some sky floor so the whole sky was one big block lol.

So after that ignored the Blank I been having problems with just keep getting worse till I ignored him with the mute button. Well man was that ever a mistake. he kicked me off the land bunch times and such. So I ban/kick now theres no rule I cant do that on the land rental and also he has control undo it witch he did 30secs later. I was trying backup my servers from my lot before all hell breaks through.
Well he banned me and kicked me then banned me all over his land. I filled many reports so far.
Now he DELETED yes deleted my house without the ability to backup or even save most of the things. A guy paid was in group could not reach him in time did not get over transferring the builing I paid for and he made so instead returns we got bunch of deletes.

So I asked for refunds during this whole time a lot he always keep saying I should never done this for anyone I just wanted to have fun err if he was going to just have fun could he not use someone else pocket money. Thats 9k + 1700 for the building I lost. Well I just asked for a 9k refund not even a week yet my house gone the land removed even he like leveled the whole sim almost now his partner hates him for what hes done and its gotten worse.

What was worse I did use his name at blue stone seats yesterday hows I got jupped 9k but apparently his girlfriend and him were there and they sent abuse reports so they IM me saying they all sent in abuse reports for somthing that is not really abusive.

So I'm asking as the people even though I may done stupid things not really bad nothing to even a linden involved was I in the wrong? I'm a new player even though says I been here for almost a year but quit like 2 weeks after started came back few weeks ago.

I want you guys to tell me do I deserve a refund or part refund for time used witch he also gave me a free week apparently. Or am I in the wrong.

I mean this has made me want to quit I'm so upset can't even spell my own name right and if you made it to this part thanks for reading.

This sounds awful.. 9k for just over a month is far too much to pay..

I rent from Hiro Queso, he's a great landlord and gives you a notecard with all the rules.

If you decide to stay, and rent more land, I'd highly reccomend him..

It pays to shop around, get the best price, and ask for reccomendations before putting up a lot of L$, and you should never sign anything you don't want to, no matter how many L$ are at risk..

Yeah my mistake on that but I think a virtual contract in game not even legal contract to start on a notecard lol.

A notecard contract??? And people actually think it's legit? With mod/copy/trans being available anything can be changed on a "contract" here.

Seconded. He's a really cool guy and was very nice even when I mistakenly listed Toast's 65th birthday party in Events, which I'm not supposed to do. Also very good at checking on sim problems and resetting groups and anything else that comes down the pike.

Athough the tactics might sound familiar, his rental fee is reasonable

not bad if you don't mind me asking what size of land you use and around how much a month for it?

I'll drop the rental notecard on you inworld - you can pay in $L or $US but I know that the $L rental fee is lower than the tier you would have to pay to LL for the same amount.

The tactics employed by the some of the respondants in this thread are what sucks.

oh, my bad.

well now linden hates me I don't think they will ever like me I was in blue stone I got booted home and well cuz Im not in groups or have a home location but old one I got in trouble for having a bug witch linden should fixed. So I got yelled and abused by linden yes abused when somone freezes your chat and your char to chat with you thats abuse. To tell me to stop when was there bug that warped me there in the first place.

Anyways also got few emails not enough information.

So if you respect the residents, the agreement is null? They might want to fix that little typo in their "contract".
