Ever notice the logo similarities?

All it says is that the idea for the logo isn't original and is quite common (these threads come up every now and then). I've never actually understood how the logo is particularly related to "Second Life" myself. "Seeing with your hand", may have a tenuous link to what second life is (using a mouse to move around a world and "see" things) but it's never taken me as a strong idea or particularly individual logo.

Too bad they didnt go with a pregnant computer logo because after all your second life is conceived there.

I'm familiar with the "Evil Eye" and the significance of both the spiral and the open hand, but i had no idea its was so pervavise as a corporate logo! The 'at' symbol (the spiral a) was pretty cool.

I think Jung would be proud of us.

I also saw a ball inside one of those crane games covered in the same logo. It's EVERYWHERE!


The logo is obviously based in SL, its even funny how the place refers to 'Real-Life' instead of SL xD
