Hah!
I actually had to start writing a list so I'd remember all the names of my new alts.

Have you noticed the lack of japanese names on the listing? Finally the are lessing them. is the 150 rule of the amount of names per name then its dropped to stil apply to names?

The last name list has always irritated me a little - it's very euro/americentric. I think the lack of chinese and indian names is the most conspicuous. I mean, with only a couple of billion of them on the planet, I suppose it's easy to overlook.

Finally someone that agrees!. I also think Italian names should be increased. Irritated you should be! But then again its all about manga geeks running around with japanese names. NAd using the japanese languge is a very bad matter and or lack of repectful way.

I always thought that chinese last names shouldn't have the 150 account limit - just culturally, chinese last names are not as unique as european names. I think italian names are already disproportionately represented. Fermi, Galileo and Torricelli are all in the mix. (There might be more, I'm not very versed in italian - I only know these guys because they're all scientists)

From: FlipperPA Peregrine I created a new fun alt today. I've got a pretty good list so far: Muppet Zamboni (token female lesbian alt account - everyone should have one!) Flip Assia (created to hold charity funds) Crompco Mechanique (for work) All Jennyfur's accounts (since many are on my card & same address) and the ones I've created for group use: Commerce Leader (SLBoutique) SLConvention Control (SLCC) There are a few others I've made that stay in mature areas only, so I won't speak their names here as they're funny, but suggestive and might be considered R-rated humor. The one created today has the last name, "Wood". (note: we joined long before the current limit on alts... or is that previous limit? Are there any limits on alt accounts any more? It was two per credit card, right? Well, I guess if you don't have to enter a credit card... then you can have infinite alt accounts now.) Regards, -Flip I didn't realize people who joined before a limit was instated didn't have to adhere to that limit. So - older players can have as many accounts as they want, whereas newer ones will get contacted with the news that their accounts over the limit must be closed? (As I've been told by others has been done.) Or - is it just that some players are contacted, whereas others aren't? Who knows. (I would suspect the latter.) As far as any limit now is concerned, I've got to conclude there isn't one. Along with this new policy, it seems they should change the number on the front page (if they haven't done so yet) to include all accounts signed up, rather than just those which have been active in the last 60 days, which is what I believe we heard it represented before. Otherwise, the new policy won't actually increase their numbers on the front page very much, as most of the alts created probably won't log in on a regular basis. And since we haven't heard from LL as yet as to why this "exciting" new change was implemented, I have to assume it was primarily to increase numbers of residents. coco
