So its a moral thing? No, it's a timely thing. Lindex withdrawls are immensly backlogged, even though they take your money. You have no ability to cancel, they take money from your account without notification and pay you when they get around to it. _____________________

My $71, Lindens cashed out through Lindex, have been in some strange limbo since Nov. 30. I wonder what you're doing with it. Maybe, to a company of LL's size, $71 isn't much, certainly not enough to worry over. But I can assure you, that is not the case for my family, which is struggling to pay off a mountain of medical debt incurred two months ago. To you, $71 might be the cost of a martini lunch. To us, it means paying off one or two of those bills. All I'm asking for is my own cash. It's not so much to ask, is it? |

The Linden's are going down a dangerous road here.
http://www.settlement4onlinepayments.com/ Holding funds for an arbitrary period was deemed by the 9th Circuit Court as illegal. PayPal was forced to notify users immediately when funds were deposited or withdrawn. LL has been taking money from resident accounts without notice and holding them without legitmate reason. Nothing in the Terms of Service allows LL to take our money without notice and to lock it beyond our control for an extended period. _____________________

Weedy, it does say 3-5 business days and I have not had it take more than 5 days yet. 5 days is a long time, I agree. Though I think they have their but covered by saying 3-5 BUSINESS days.

Weedy, it does say 3-5 business days and I have not had it take more than 5 days yet. 5 days is a long time, I agree. Though I think they have their but covered by saying 3-5 BUSINESS days. They can't legally do that. First of all, they MUST notify you when doing anything with your money and secondly, they cannot lock it beyond your control for an arbitrary period without notice. An example being PayPal. Once PayPal receives a payment, they are obligated to notify the recipient. Then, once you request it to be transferred, they must notify the recipient that the transfer is in the process. LL does none of these. _____________________

we're in the same boat Weedy =/
i sold a chunk of $L 5 days ago today. i seriously doubt it will be credited today as it is getting late in the day. i have been using SLX exchange for the past few weeks and i made the mistake of being curious and wanting to try Lindex. Lesson learned. ( i get my U$D within hours, no complaints) i messaged a Linden in world and the response was "its [Lindex] in beta, we're being careful" ... you already have the merchendise..wheres my money?! i miss GOM too. but them "throwing in the towel early" has made me doubt them. if they came back on the scene id have a tough time going with them. |

I did call LL today and spoke with someone, as I am on the 5th day today. I was told that anything cashed out after the 30th will be done tonight. I spoke with someone named Mike.
