Greetings from San Francisco! A few final reminders to people that are attending. (1) Remember to leave extra time for travel, and be sure to pack an extra set of clothes in your carry on (trust me). NO LIQUIDS IN CARRY ON! Our checked-in luggage was delayed by a day after our arrival. It was a lot of fun! Keep your cool and you'll get through okay. (2) Sunday's sessions, except for the Tour of the Exploratorium, have limited seats available. They are being filled on a first come, first serve basis, and will fill up. Of course, you're more than welcome to sleep in at the hotel; there's no mandatory attendance for any part of the weekend. To find who to contact for registration for parts of Sunday's sessions, please check the Sunday portion of the agenda here: http://www.SLConvention.org/agenda/(3) If you have registered but not paid, your registration will soon be cancelled to make room for other registrations who will pay, UNLESS you have made alternative payment arrangements (for example, if you're coming from Sweden and don't have Paypal, then we'll let you pay at the door). PLEASE email us ASAP if you have registered but not paid to make an alternate arrangement. We have a cap on registrations of 437 (the legal limit of the Cowell Theater at the Fort Mason Center) and we're currently are about 370 registrations, with some of those being unpaid, so you can understand our need to get them paid or remove them. (4) Please be sure to check your email frequently as we'll be sending most updates to registrants in that fashion. (5) Most importantly: we can't wait to see you!  Regards, -Flip & the SLCC Team

also, don't forget to check your email for directions in concern of your nametag. it's being done differently this year, if you want a personalized nametag (with your pic of choice) there is a place to do this online.

Anyone ever find it odd how you have to fly east to go west? lol. Hopefully I wont have the same luggage problems you did Flipper. *crosses my fingers and toes* I will be leaving on thursday, getting there with very very little sleep so you guys will have a loopy Stormy on your hands. Ok I promise to be good!

(Flip here, not Jenn - but either way, we're both here) The link for printing badges is here: http://www.SLConvention.org/badge/You must be a paid registrant to use it. The event will be broadcast in world in real-time. Friday night, the musicians performing live will have their avatars on a stage in the 4 Abundance simulators in world. Saturday, the video will be fed there. However, that's not nearly enough space for all of us! The IVM and OOB teams has been contracted to create a build for us for remote viewing on your land. This will be handed out to anyone who wishes to hold and SLCC viewing party on their land, which will include the video screen to view the stream on and seating. This will be made publically available soon. Sorry if I'm slow to reply to email, IMs, etc - I'm currently swamped, as you can imagine, ensuring the event goes smoothly. Heck, for me it's two days away and I'm already packing! Great news about the Exploratorium for me though. I remember going there on a family vacation when I was about 10. I imagine it's changed quite a bit since then, but that hasn't kept it off my mind these last 25 years!

I just need the URL for the stream. I have my own viewing screen and seating in my purpose built theatre/venue.
Which, incidently, is hireable should people wish to host their own event, live music, video showing etc. Contact me for terms.

Is the money sitting in my SL account under the name Tyrant Laffer I have it to attend the first day of SL convention. I cannot however get in touch with SLCC or Flipper or Misty. So please let me know what to do in world. I am right near SF but the sooner the better.
