Everyone kvetches about favoritism, but let's give LL some credit. They made some solid steps at democratizing the homepage already and no one seens to recognize that.

Too bad testicles and other stuff always seem to end up there.

Haha, I'm on the frontpage again. Thanks to Torley for suggesting the Fresco-look portrait.

I think that the script favors snapshots taken in the Welcome Area sims.

Originally, it was on the home page right after Snapzilla launched. Then when they redid the front page a few months later and were actually showing pictures bound for my site on their site as well, then the credit disappeared. After I complained, a tiny sideways "Powered by Snapzilla" label was next to the pictures, but then that slowly disappeared too. SecondLife.com used to actually be the top referral site to Snapzilla - but it still represented only a tiny percentage of the overall traffic, so the loss isn't hurting the site any. If anything, it benefits them more than me anyway. My forum signature, Google, and Torley's blog are now the top referrals to the site

Yes, and I remember the little sideways one!

I don't care about percentage of referrals; it's the principle of the thing! They should credit it, regardless how little or sideways the credit is.

Well let's see if my pic gets on the front page... I made an alpha texture that says "pics powered by Snapzilla -- visit slpics.com" on it. Perfect for putting on a little object in the foreground of a snapshot.

The problem I have is that there's no mention on the front page of how to submit a pic. I finally found out, but it wasn't exactly simple.

how long does it take for land set to "publish content on web" to show up?

That explains how to send a picture to Snapzilla. If you send the picture from a PG sim, it will also appear on the SL homepage.

I have sent like 15 photos from Lusk (PG) in the past few days with "Upload to web" or whatever checked and none of them show up =/
