I seem to have a perceptional distortion. The few child-avis i have met so far seemed all busy enacting happy childhood with loving parental figures and/or other child-avis - except one who was busy restocking a store. SL seems to be a great psychological tool for this.
Where do people get the notion from that it is about sex?

The only reason that i am prude in SL is that you can't really cuddle. I think it is really more a problem of perception. The sexual context tends to draw attention and, depending on your inhibitions and moral values, to be blown out of proportion. |

Only a very few enlightened ones can rise above such drivel. Those often have big money pockets and are driven by greed... Correction, only a very very few of the few enlightened ones amongst us care enough to enjoy giving and expecting nothing in return, like in building communities, aid, interesting free projects and so on. |

There are a lot more residents that are in Second Life for friendship and a sense of community. I am not here in to make the big money from real estate, running a club, etc. I regually give my time to different projects. Sex to me is just a part of life no more and no less. I think that Second Life acts as a mirror to a lot of people. They look out at it and see themselves. Try and view things with a more positive attitude instead of a negative one and you will be surprised at the outcome. |

I've been in SL more than 2 years and I frankly don't see that much sexual stuff (not in any proportion larger than RL anyways) _____________________

This has been discussed a lot here, and yes, most (from my experience) of us playin' kids on SL are just as you described. I'm sure there asre some who do ageplay in a sexual fashion, but I suspect it is a very rare thing. It is weird, though, that if you read a lotta what's been said here an elsewhere, you'd think that SL is overrun with ageplayin' s-e-x addicts. Mari _____________________

How long till it breaks down into condemnation from both sides, with neither willing to consider the other point of view?
