Does the idea of streaming videos from inside Linden Lab HQ have any appeal to anyone?

Maybe these could go at the Infohubs?

If I want to see a bunch of geeks looking at computers, I can just go to work.

Or is this by any chance a reference to something else?

I'm cool with this if one or two LL staffers have a computer screen nearby trained on whichever InfoHub they are being streamed to. They would then have to act out suggestions thrown out by Avies mingling around the InfoHub, like a Comedy Club bit.

Well you had a lot more hair then than my older daugher has now, she visited a Buddhist monetary a while back, and several days later shaved off all the hair on her head, and it was just starting to grow back to a barely tolerable young human female peach fuzz look when she shaved it all back off.

But I digress.

 I would have cried for days if I did that! Still, it can be a hip look for chickies. I just never had my hair short since I was really little.

We *do* use web cams in an attempt to visually link the two large rooms that the majority of us Lindens inhabit. I don't foresee us making those video streams publicly accessible though.

Cheers,

Poking corpses doesn't work, you know.

Neither, I suppose, does the Havoc 2 department.

I could see how those who enjoy attacking the grid could use the cams as some sort of entertainment. Watching the LL staff run around like crazy.

Some people are asking for Linden Only content at the Infohubs.

This would be one way to satisfy such requests.

Live videos from the office.

For the tech heads, a web cam feed of the server rack.

"Is that live or is it the same one frame all the time?" Look closely enough and you will see the dust collect.

Scanned images of drawings by Linden Lab personnel.

Video and audio recordings of musical performances by the Linden staff , such as, the Linden staff do a tribute to "Spinal Tap".

3 female staffers in 50s apparel sing the old standards as "The Linden Sisters".

One vote for GridCam!

I think it'd be a hoot to have a stream/image of the colo cage that houses the grid(s). But trust me, with the massive airflow and filtering in that place there isn't going to be a lot of dust accumulating...
