It is truly unfortunate what has transpired here, but interesting reading none the less!

I especially liked the part about sleeping with the builder. Is it RL sleeping with, or SL Poseball kinkiness?

I propose a new SL Soap Opera

"Like Particles through the scripted hourglass, These are the days of our Second Lives"

or perhaps,

"The Young and the Rezzless"

"As the Cube Rezzes"

Come on now... I know you guys can think of more!!!

I'd put my .02$L in for "CSI: SL" or "Law and Order: Special Griefer's Unit" .. but .. giving permissions to someone and them screwing you over isn't griefing more than its just unfortunate, and an expensive learning experience.

BTW - Almost everyone has a price. No matter how much you trust someone there is a price they'll turn on you for. This wo/man turned for $40kL ... maybe a "better friend" wouldn't have done it for less than $100kL.

Rehashed Point? I don't think it is griefing.

That should be his builder friend. He pimped her out to get cash over and above daddy's allowance.

Outstanding usage!!! Kudos on that...

I whole-heartedly agree with you on that though. I would never trust anyone with mod unless they were physically in the same room with me.

I have trusted people with mod before, but I know they were worthy of my trust, and it was mainly because they owned the land I put my stuff on.. AND it wasn't valuable stuff.
(It was a tuesday in the 2nd week of june and the moon was full too!)

only under those circumstances, would I grant mod to anyone!

LOL ... I guess I'm just paranoid. (Well, I am, aren't I? .. maybe I guess? Thats ok right? Right?)

I know a few people online that I've known for literally years. Those people are the only ones I'd trust with permissions. I've never met most of them IRL, but I know them well enough to trust them.

It is funny ... you wouldn't give your housekeys to someone you met in line buying your morning coffee and grant them full access to your house after chatting with them for a little ... but people will hand over perms in SL.

No. She "turned" for granted rights.

No woman should ever turn for less than $50kL. Cash! Screw the items and objects, everybody and her sister has a freakin' yard sale now.

Give me Cash or give me.. ummm, pie?

I think the reference was made about the $40k obtained by pimping her out to his builder friend. $80k; half from dad, half from cybering.

I wonder if dad is the type who would "never waste his time playing online games" and here he is being screwed on one. :p

Probably works real hard to have money to send baby girl to college, too. :(

I knew the $40k was in lindens not US dollars. Now, stop your gloating about your take and hush.

Quick & Dirty
Step 1.) make a hollowed, cut, and trimmed torii, skew, full revolution.
Step 2.) add llSetBouyancy(1.0);
Step 3.) Copy, copy, copy, within a small space. stack them on top and next to eachother.
Step 4.) Set Physical.
Step 5.) If you're still able to move, run.

Smoother
Do steps 1-3, add on_rez event to make object physical.
4. Take copy of all the torii.
5. Load copy into an object with a timer script. Giving you time to flee.

Real Smooth
Pull a linden object from the library, and use /that/ for your toriis, scripts, and release devices, so xxxx Linden is on the creator tag. Then give to noobs labled "Free Money! Drag Me To Ground".
