I really don't know how anyone can hate on hippos. They're awesome and have a nice SL pedigree. What's the beef? <3 hippopotami. We should have had all of the animals come off a gigantic ark in a line and then let residents vote for their favorite... Doing it this way just contributes to the theory of the Feted Innerpopotamus...  _____________________

It's cute but I still think they are tacky looking...at least in a setting such as this, I just don't think they fit. Uh, the point is they are a blank canvas... for folks to create something fun and clever and creative. Even in their undecorated state, they kind of look like charming Bufano sculptures... all hail the happy hippos! |

The hippos are good. Hippos, no matter how large they are, ALWAYS FIT. Hippos keep us righteous. There is no substitute for hippos. One can never be too rich or have too many hippos.

It's nice to wake up and see where this thread is.
Looks like the spirit of the hippo is truly with us. The hippo templates aren't scripted, but they are fully permissive, so if you're a scripter who wants to make them walk around and go for a swim, or maybe even a hippo with a jetpack soaring through the sky, please feel free - and show us the results! Everyone who's already sent your hippos to Robin Linden, thank you! A reminder that it's a good idea to name them uniquely before sending, so we know who you are.
