hmmmm, they have closed off that sim to anyone :(

So I guess he doesnt want our votes if he makes the big time? I guess he only came for the sterile rose tint view.

Says the person who was staging a deliberate disruption of the event for (as far as I can tell, considering the signs you came up with) absolutely no reason whatsoever.

If you wonder why the sim is closed, look no further than the nearest mirror, Lost.

Why the personal attacks?

The signs were made to be un-biased, I gave a few out to a lot of people last night. If your concerned about something in the Sandbox, please keep it there, that's childish dude. You know it's called the "Sandbox - where wild and crazy threads go!"

I wasn't aware a peaceful protest was "disrupting anything".

Why would I need to carry sandbox threads over to here? I was quite able to form that opinion based on what you wrote in this thread alone.

I'm sorry if you take the truth as a personal attack. I'm just pointing out what it looks like.

I'm sorry, I don't know who you are or wish to know, kindly leave me alone.

Twice, huh, Lost? Nice abuse of the abuse system, since at best you could stretch it to cover one of my posts.

Quit PMing me then.

Last I checked this was a general forum and I could comment on anything in here - and I'm commenting on this, because it's the type of thing that I feel ruins so many good oportunities both for SL's residents and LL.

Probably by invite only, pre-vetted by Linden Lab, cross checked by IP to make sure that anyone likely to be even remotely anything less than sycophantic wouldn't get in.

"Oh of course Mr President *snicker* sorry Governer Warner, it's so good to have you here in Second Life, it really shows that politicians are so in touch with the modern generation and at the cutting edge of technology".

There isn't a Monica Lindenski in-world is there?

Yeah, Mark Warner is considered #2 behind Hillary, and many people think he's the dark horse that could jump up front.

Cool news.

I'd vote for him before Hillary.

So ... a set piece with an extremely limited audience who were *still* not allowed to ask questions?

I thought this guy was a Democrat. :P

Come on, did you really want to feed the guy to the wolves in a FULL blown (literally if Philip's involved. He's a griefer magnet,) town hall?

To be fair, it was short and sweet, probably to let the guy get his prims in order. *itches to shave him bald in game* Someone please get his avi a new wig! He looks like Ken in the old days! Which brings me to...

And Lewis: they don't need interns in SL, just look at the classifieds;)

So the audience was just there for color? Why even bother? Just give him a tour and leave it at that. :P

I'd say that this was an obvious bid for the "MMORPG vote" if there actually was such a beast.

Ok, I can take just about ANY kind of person in SL, but letting the politicians in REALLY lowers the tone of the neighborhood.
They've already F*cked up RL about as bad as it could possibly get, so why let them have a Chance in this world?
If you are going to start a protest in SL How about
"Ban all the Politicians!"

I think it's a Platform we can all get behind. :p

Mark Warner Flying off as a Naked Woman?
09-09-2006 01:03
Hey, did anyone see Mark Warner Fly off as a naked woman at the end of his interview? I heard that it was commented on the Daily Kos that at the end of his interview Mark Warner flew off the stage as a naked woman. Any truth to this or maybe it was somebody's client glitch?
