I just heard from a friend that after reading the near unanimous feedback from customers about the value of the Forums, LL has made a last minute decision to keep them open!

I'll probably get in a lot of trouble for leaking this, but.... I happened to be lurking in the super-secret #Secondlife IRC channel on Undernet. Apparently, there's a small undocumented feature in Wednesday's patch:

I hate to be an "old poop" but believe half of what you see and none of what you hear. Until a Linden knocks on my door in Green and says "Oh precious, perfect and adorable Mrs. Showdog Tiger...the forums are still here." I will not believe it. And if they are rude enough not to let people know this is the case I know I can always depend on my SL nephew and the "White Dog With the Red Collar" to tell me the truth.
