Ladies....what do you look for in your sl men? Tall, dark and handsom? And guys....same question, do you want a sl hoochie, blonde, tan etc.? You know, IF your into that stuff...if not, that's fine, I'm just curious....mainly I'm just bored and don't want to be at work right now! :)

I look for personality. Looks are meaningless in SL.

I'll tell you what I *don't* like about some SL male toons... those toons who beef themselves up to maximum grotesque proportions and then forget to enlargen their heads accordingly. So I see these bizarrely beefed up hulks with little heads riding on their shoulders. *shudder*

Oh the flip side, I'm drawn to the bad-boy, rogue look: Long dark hair, dark eyes, black leather, tight jeans... As long as his head is in proportion to the rest of his body, which is preferably not hulked out to maximum size.

I suppose some female toons are just as extreme with their maxed out boobs and butts with zero waists.

I find the toon diversity in SL highly entertaining.

It's all good.

My musdle slider is more the the left than the right, head size is about right - for a very tall, very thin pale guy (with metal through his arms :D).

Hrmm. Well...interesting thread idea, and will be fun and likely enlightening to watch what people say they find attractive. I wonder how many people "try something different" in SL than they are attracted to IRL?

I myself an a middle aged, divorced, bisexual woman. I am in a lovely relationship now IRL. I am not and never really have been looking for relationships in SL. Not sexual ones anyway. Just friendship andbuilding for me.

But...that said...what I tend to find attractive, both in men and women in SL is still very much the same as I find attracve IRL. I am just me here in SL, and so my thoughts, feelings, and preferences don't change any.

Men: I am not attracted to "the Bad Boys" in the traditional sense as it seems many women are. I am drawn to guys that are sensitive, caring...but as fucked up and crazy as I am usually. In looks, I prefer feminine men. Give me a guy with long dark hair, eyeliner on and a lithe figure anyday. The big, tanned macho guys are waaaaay out of my preference range and I find zero attractive in that look personally. Pale, tattooed, goth, emo, artistic and emotional types are what I get all hot and bothered for. A nice ass doesn't hurt either. =P

Women: I have never been a fan of Barbie. I am not anything Barbie-like myself and I don't find that blonde haired, blue-eyed "all-american girl" look attractive. Nor any of the variations on it that the media likes to shove in our faces. Not into the slutty looks, the glamour girl model looks, or the heroin addict looks. I prefer short, cute, fuller-figured women in general. Dark hair, round cute faces, that hide the insane and crazy things in their heads. Yes...like men, I am attracted to the freak women of life...natural as I am a freak myself. =P A women with a dark sense of humour is a must...and as with men...a nice ass never hurts.

I have no real preference for or against any racial group in my attraction either...for men or women. I have dated and find beauty in every ethic group I have ever seen. The most important factors for me in any one I might ever consider a relationship with IRL or SL would be how they behave, think, and feel. They have to be sick and twisted, have a dark sense of humour and usually are as mentally derranged as I am. Sensitive, emotional, and caring despite their cynicism is a must though. Cold, distant, hard or macho turns me off really fast.

Normal sized head, around my height, not an oiled up beefcake, into fashion, clever and can hold is own in a discussion, good sense of humour, cheerful demeanor. Same as in RL, and probably why I can't get a date to save my life in SL. XD

Personality!

Always always always that has to come first. In RL Im male but have uhhhh what some people might label as gender issues (though its still a misnomer:). So in SL I play a what I think of as a cute redheaded respresentation of what I'd want to be in RL and maybe just a bit of me is inside of her as well. I gave her some extra weight and broader than normal shoulders, shes a little taller than most female AVs .. some other things that give her a bit more masculine feel as well.

All that being said, I am not into guys and so I cant say what I look for physically in them. Though I do tend to like the ones who go comical in their looks. I also hold much admiration for any guys who do not rely solely on a skin or pre designed shape as far as their facial respresentation goes.

WHen someone takes a lot of time on adjusting their looks either to be a close approximation to RL or just what they wish they were in RL.. well I find that a big turn on in female AVs and am highly congratulatory when males do it.

Females who create really nice content or are into serious creative endeavors (music, art, etc) inside of SL are also just so much fun to be around that I get insipired and insipration turns me on no end:)

Basically the more time and effort someone puts into their look, coupled with a nice personality and creative yearnings makes me go all gaga. Not that I would tell them though!

OH! Shopping they have to be into shopping! Lots and lots and lots of shopping!

Yup pretty much what I was gonna say.

I do enjoy seeing the offbeat and unusual avatars people can come up with, I have a friend and she finds the craziest avatars......a spider, a fly, and she's had some other crazy shit I can't recall. I love my butterfly avatar :)

I know, I didn't really answer the question did I?
