Why do they even bother to bring up the server after an update if all they are going to do is shut it down for hours after? I mean....... has anyone at second life even understand the actual meaning of Quality Assurance Testing????? Thats something I've been wondering too Dynaraven. It appears to me that the Dev - QA - Production cycle is far too short, and things are getting through QA that simply shouldnt. Each time we get a 5 hours prime time outage (and dont get me started on the stupidity of THAT little effort), we all get to see things that are so glaringly obvious and blatantly messed up, that we get the pleasure of yet another outage. If the Lindens were running REAL applications on this box with REAL customers that they had to answer too, yu can bet your life these things simply wouldnt happen. Forget the cheese.... I wanna eat a Gerbil. |

Actually..if they are testing the presence thingomajobber, and theres only one linden online, wouldnt it say all his friends are offline and actually be RIGHT? Looks like the Linden QA team are at work.

Exaclty how is 1 Linden going to fix this problem when it normally take 8 to 21 to fix everything else? It means they found residents were present on the grid and having fun and we just can't have that. So they closed SL to fix this presence issue. It worked too. No one is present now, right? haha Zoe this is classic and sooooo true! _____________________
