You failing to point out that Line speed is also a factor. It you have a nice computer and crappy line it matters not. Line speed is everything. I had almost all line speeds possible in home and work..Fact if your running a 512 CG you better have good FPS reading.....But without a good internet line to back it up its more of a waste.

Ah yes i used that program to play counter-strike.

But there was an other way to increase your FPS.

You had to change some options in 'Nview' (Nvidea).

A friend of mine fixes my fps...it went from 60fps to 100fps (in counter-strike)

However I forgot how he did it.

I have 25fps in WoW....

Interesting... I have been getting suspiciously bad FPS... wonder if it's because I have hyperthreading enabled? I'll have to try this...

I would kill a blind man for 60 FPS... o.o the only time i ever got my FPS that high was just after a new version release before they patched it messing it back up. And i was at maximum prim hieght (768M) on a wooden platform.

I noticed a FPS increase on mine (and very few crashes) when I upgraded to 2 Gigabytes of RAM, up from 1 Gig. SL seems to like the RAM.

This is on a Single core CPU (Athlon64 3000+)

Part of what people are talking about is mentioned in the forums of some online gaming sites- the games would crash unless you set Core Affinity.
