If you are a new player and you are doing it, please just start a thread of your own. Thank you.  If you are an old player and you are doing it, you should be flogged! I dont really care but LL will probably see it as spam. They will see you bumping the old threads for no reason. The fact that others may or may not be interested in the topic is irrelevant. Then I suggest people stop posting useless new threads to general too. Why is pointing out that there is already a discussion on a given subject irrelevant or any worse than starting a new thread? Or a thread whining about people bumping old threads? And you can call it trolling, spam or any other thing you care to mention, but it doesn't fit those descriptions. An open topic in the forums means it can be posted to. I'm not aware of any rule that contradicts this and I've yet to see anyone give me any good reason other than that they don't like it personally. |

Please refrain from personally attacking those you don't agree with. Also, to clarify, threads posted in the SL Forums remain open so others may read and possibly comment on them over time. Forum guidelines still (of course) apply to these threads which may be re-bumped for discussion. Just for shits and giggles. _____________________

Ya see, while others seem to be annoyed by necroposting... I'm annoyed by people starting new threads on the same subjects over and over again. |
