I have a need to make a circular room that exceeds the 10 meter size limit for a single tube prim. Anyone have any tips for this, for something about 25 meters in outside diameter?

- start with a tube of maximum size
- set BOTH twists to 90
- set Y hole size to minimum value

Rule, thanks, I'll give that a whirl (or twist). :)

Look up Cadroe Murphy's RingMaker scripts for one solution to this.

This made a 15m disc -- cool! -- which I fiddled with and fiddled with and maybe this has been done, but I ended up with a 19.5m single prim disc. It's not perfect -- there's a fair amount of texture jitter as you near the center -- but I can think of a lot of places it could be used.

Unfortunately, I didn't keep track of the steps to create this thing -- but IM me in-world if you'd like a copy.

I think you neglected to set the Y hole size to 0.05. If you leave the Y hole size at the default value then you get a smaller prim. Setting it to 0.05 gives you the 19.5m disk.

Setting the X hole size to 0.95 reduces the amount of texture jitter.

Thank you so much Seifert for posting this wonderful tortured prim. This is exactly what I need for a pool that I am building in my island in the sky.

Great suggestions, though... what I was looking for was really a tube of more than 10m in diameter. Nice disc though...

I got the tool mentioned by someone too, though haven't figured out how it's different than just creating one yet. :)
