Just curious. Is there an easier way to mirror prims rather than copying the prim and rotating it and using the grid to make it the opposite?

When prims can be contorted more. Some things can't be mirrored in the current prim-mangling feature set.

Send me an IM in-world about this and I'll try to show you how the (current) system works. The present one doesn't do any of that lovely stuff that got me flamed, so don't start. :p

As for prims that cannot be mirrored - certain mirrors will have their faces appear mangled or "cut up." This is a rendering limitation, so there's really not much residents can do about that.

The other misnomer is prims that are created through a process known as "prim torture." Currently in LSL, it's difficult if not impossible to tell exactly how a prim has been "tortured" from llGetPrimitiveParams alone. Please correct me if I'm wrong on this point (I'm talking to you, Strife).

So in brief, if you have made a shape by changing the prim type one or several times in the editor (AKA prim torture), an LSL-backed solution won't work properly, and there's no way I know to check for that. Sorry.
