I'd really appreciate the help. I'm still a Newb, and I'm pretty much broke from exploring around. Any help would be appreciated, and the Custom animation would really clear up some questions. Also, how do you make clothing? I just don't get anything on this...
Someone, HELP!

Goodness, this is an old thread!
Jaye, what you want to do is something called linking. Right click on the first prim (object) you want to link up, and select edit. It should start to glow yellow. Then, with shift down, click on all the other prims you want to link it to. They should also start to glow yellow. If you want to unselect one, just click it again (with Shift down). Then go up to (I think) "Tools" and select "Link" from the drop down menu (hitting Control-L should also work, I think). All the prims you selected -- except for the last one you clicked, which will stay yellow -- should start to glow blue. That last prim is called the parent prim.
If you just click on this new object you've got and select "Edit," you'll wind up editing the whole thing. If you just want to tweak a few prims in it, check the "Edit Linked Parts" box. This will allow you to click on individual pieces and edit them individually. Or you can hold down Shift and click on a few prims in the linked series, and that will allow you to edit just those prims. Again, if you click on a prim you decide you don't want selected after all, just click it again while Shift is held down.
If you want to unlink all the prims, go into editing mode and select "Unlink" from the drop down menu (the Tools menu still, IIRC). If you only want to unlink a few prims, go into edit mode, check "Edit Linked Parts" and select the parts you want to unlink using the Shift key. Then select "Unlink" from the drop down menu. (As a note, I don't think you can unlink a parent prim using this method. You have to link the entire object to a new parent. The old parent can then be fiddled with as you please.)
