rez a box, make it the desired height (Keep it square the first time.)
Rez a cylinder, then set the cut to .5, 1 so that it is a half-circle. Place this on one of the sides of the square. Repeat, so that you use 3 prims, a cube, and two cylinders, to make a prim heart. The two rounded 'sections' of the heart would be made of of the cylinders. OR use sculpties ![]() |

Depends on how many prims you want, and what angles it needs to be viewed from. There's a way to prim-torture a single prim into a flat heart shape. But as I recall, it is very thin. You can do three prims, as a half a square and two half circles, but the result is less than perfect... Of course, a sculpty could do it easily, once you learn how to make them.

Using the program in this thread:
/8/c5/213219/1.html And the instructions in this blog: http://ayumicassini.blogspot.com/2007/10/plopp-goes-sculptie.html You get a one prim, not flat, sculpty heart, for 10L upload fee. Or wait until my SL inventory isn't borked and I'll send you the one I already have in-world. A _____________________

Heh, how many times are we going to have to go through this heart-shape topic? (See /8/8d/170533/1.html ...which wasn't hard to find back.) I guess it's just that much of a popular shape.
That said, the "heart" is probably a great example of a shape that can be done a variety of different ways (depending on what exactly you want): -2 elliptical prims cut diagonally and stuck together (mentioned in the link above) -2 uncut elliptical shapes intersecting, for a rounded underside (mentioned by Sara here) -a flat heart shape made from twisting and squashing a particular prim Ceera and I have seen... -other prim forms... -sculpties drawn up easily in Plopp -sculpties with their heart-shape neatly laid out in the simple TOKOROTEN -for the truly elaborate, sculpties made in more advanced software! But for sculpties based on 2-D symbols, either Plopp (which makes inflated shapes, and excels in easy texturing) or TOKOROTEN (which gives pretty clean and straightforward control over your 2-D shape, with a few different 3-D options) should do quite enough. http://kanae.net/secondlife/tokoroten.html Just because I got carried away with this, here's my own Tokoroten heart I drew up with care: --TOKOROTEN DATA V2 250 36 255 64 254 91 248 117 235 147 213 178 179 214 143 244 127 255 111 244 75 214 41 178 19 147 6 117 0 91 0 64 4 36 16 16 32 4 52 0 71 0 91 8 107 25 119 48 127 59 135 48 147 25 163 8 183 0 202 0 222 4 238 16 --END OF TOKOROTEN DATA V2 (Just save that to a .txt file, and you'll already have it in Tokoroten's native format for import!) _____________________
