Just what is prim torcher?

i can not find it in the wiki.

Please help thank you.

Try "Torture" as in the mutilation and pain of a bendy/stretchy kind...
not "Torcher" as in the mutilation and pain from the application of fire.

I don't use it much, but it seems to rely on using scripts or
edit controls to set "hidden" values on prims. Ie: cubes don't have
'dimple' only spheres do... so you make the prim a sphere, set dimple
values, then change the object type to cube. The values sort of stick,
even though you can't edit them while it's in cube shape.

You can come up with some very odd and unusual prims this way.

Read the very good and informative stcky at the top of the building thread on tiny prims.
Prim Torture is the trick used to fool sl into making them smaller than the 0.010 limit.
It can also be used for making fantastic shapes that are not possible using just the controls for that particular prim.

I would also suggest a trip to the ivory tower of primitives. A great place to learn about the edit controls.

HAVE FUN AND EXPERIMENT.. You may even surprise yourself with whats possible

Prim torture can be done using the normal editing panel; changing the prim to a different type, changing values specific to that type, and then changing the prim back to the desired object type -- some of those values that don't appear for the simpler object still have an effect on it.
