I'm finishing up a few houses I am building and have been looking at packaging rezzers for them. Any opinions on some? Good and bad reviews appreciated.

Thanks!!

I've only ever used the rez-faux system but my opinion of it is it rocks. Link as much as possible, set permissions, drop script, take pieces individually, drop into box, test, done.

Pretty much the way I've seen others described as being used, including Builder's Buddy, but I can say that support and updates are great on the Rez-Faux.

Jack in the Box by Jack Hathor - hands down.

Huge Object Box NT Construction Kit, V1.3

The guy is phenomenal at customer service and the thing couldn't be any easier to use.

It allows you development options, terraforming etc. Link as much or as little as you want, drop scripts in each part, store the position via pop up menu, take the whole thing to inventory, drop in your scripted JIB box (which you create so its yours, you are the creator - just a simple one prim box or whatever you want). Thats it. Now you can rez the structure large or small, work on it whatever you need to do. It has a ton of options I never use, and rezzers he also sells so you can show your stuff out of the box.

When I was looking for a house rezzing system I found Jack to be the most helpful, the most reliable and provide the most information not to mention have the best selection of products/prices just for these purposes.

If you are interested in the documentation that comes with the system I use give me a shout inworld and I will drop the notecards on you.

I also use the Pro Jack in the Box and the reason above the others (which I have tried also) is the easy HUD and development from box allowing you to make changes x times after initial pack.

Not found one to beat it yet.

Builder's Buddy

Builder's Buddy is here: https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Builders_Buddy

On that page, you'll find a link to complete help as well, cause I was bored one day :}

I suppose one of the "pros" it has going for it is that you can be more flexible in the permissions you set on the scripts, and the resulting products, etc.

I have to disagree. I have been using Jack's vendor system for some time, and he never replies to my IMs, notecards, or even tickets i have raised on his website. I have multiple issues with the vendors, and the web reporting on his website. I used to be a big fan of Jack's work, but his customer service has gone downhill to the point I can no longer recommend him.

And it's not just me, I have several friends i had recommended the system to, and they are also SOL when it comes to customer service. In fact, there was a whole thread devoted to Jack's lack of Customer service on the SLEX forums.

I use 10KHZ tone's EasyRez system. It costs about 2500L, and I've found it to be the most reliable and easy to use - same sort of link stuff, drop in script, set location via menu and take / drop in box thing as rez faux and the others

but

10Khz is a top guy, and really responsive to feature requests and stuff - if you think of a good idea/addition and tell him, there's a good chance it'll make it into the next update - very helpful too with questions and such -

and finally - if you do a lot of large scale stuff like me - eg building sims rather than just individual buildings - the easyrez is great, because it'll happily do a whole sim, 10,000 prims worth or so, in a really laggy environment - it just works. I've tested a halfsim build out in a laggy sandbox to push it, and it didnt have any problems even though the sim itself was having a nightmare of scripts pushes and general laggy schtuff.

I'm interested in Jack's one, I've heard its good, but for sheer reliability and a great way to back up my large scale projects, 10khz Tone's easyRez wins hands down for me.
