I'm not huge a fan of sharp edges and like to put rounded corners on things. Because of this, I frequently find myself using (at least) 2 prims to make a square with one rounded corner.
Some of the sculptie screenshots I've seen are pretty cool (and some very cool) but what I'd really like to see is a library of scuplties that replace common multi-prim shapes with one sculptie prim..
Anybody started such a thing?

I'd be interested in a sculptie library as well...though at first I would imagine that most people jealously hold on to their sculpted prims as IP. I'm sure, however, that very soon the more common and easy to create shapes will be library'd or passed as free textures in-world.

It is all still pretty new so there are not that many yet. Here is one place, http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Sharing_sculpt_maps_and_textures Desmond Shang also has mentioned that he would have a spot on his land for free donated sculpted prims as well. I do not have that link as of yet.

One of my goals is to make a series of useful sculties with a view to freely distributing them. I've started by attempting to build simple tools with which people can make sculpt textures and import them to SL without the need of 3d software (which requires an investment of money and/or time in most cases). My tools are still in development (see http://www.nandnerd.info/sculpty.php) and hopefully I'll be churning out useful bits and pieces with them soon. In the mean time, Wings3d seems to be the easiest free system and the export to sculpt texture is fantastically simple and straightforward. Also worth noting the Sharing sculpt maps and textures page on the Second Life Wiki which is looking a little bare at the moment but hopefully it'll be bursting with textures as more people are introduced to the art. Edit: Infiniview Merit beat me to it

The Sharing sculpt maps and textures page was recombined into the Sculpted_Prims:_Sculpt_Maps_and_Textures page.
