Does anyone know how (and can tell me) to make braided/platted hair with prims?

Hi Warda!
Here is what I used to make a single braid such as the one in the pic, but you can always adjust the size/path cut/whatever...but hopefully it will give you a starting point (the prims against the head are cut, the lower ones are not):
Torus:
Size: .120, .228, .242
Path cut: B .2, E .7
Hole size: 1, .50
Taper: -1, -1
Then just layer the prims at an angle as you move down building the braid.
