how can I put a round hole through a box?

Just a newbie question. Seems like a "negative" prim mode would be useful.

Hiya

After creating your prim, Right click it, Select edit, Under the objects tab you have a hollow option, You also have a hollow shape option, Use both of those to create the hole you want :-)

Thanks Natalie,

I now see my problem was that I was trying to hollow a composite object; but, the "Hollow Shape" area was greyed out.

I feel really dumb.
