1. Create a sphere ( any size)
2. While in Edit mode goto Object>Edit> Rotation Vector and set to 0.00,0.00,0.00 (default is 0.00,0.90,0.00
3. got to the Hollow adjustment and set at 90
4. Cut 0.300, 1.00
5. Click the texture tab and apply a half alpha texure ( half as in the actual texture size)
6. click Texture repeats h and v and adjust, watch the sphere closely at this point to see if the sphere itself rotates with any H/V repeat adjustment, if not, go onto offsets, if nothing goto the texture rotation itself.
Observed results: when I reached step 5 this is were things started going wrong especially when i hit the texture rotation and set from-90 Degrees to 0 , the sphere iteself rotated after the texture did , only on it's own whereas I was still in texture and had not gone back to the Objet>Edit Teb , but then I had to go there to verify the rotation itself had changed from 0.00, 0.00,0.00 Back TO 0.00,0.90,0.00 of default rotation.
Expected results: for the Texture edit function to work independantly of the Object Edit functions.
This may have been a time dialtion issues as well, but I've never seen it before but it was VERY simliar to rubber banding and extreme prim drift.
