Hello
I use AC3D with the sculpty exporter to create most of my items. I came across a problem the other day regarding how AC3D exported a shoe object. I was creating a very smooth outsole that would be placed under the the main shoe body.
In AC3D the 3d model itself looks very clean and quite "perfect". But when I attempted to upload it and place textures. I quickly noticed a lot of distortion and what looks like stretching. As if someone has taken a cake and smushed it down to squeeze out the insides (its not that bad).
The issue is that it shouldn't look like this and I'm not quite sure why this happened. I used a regular cylinder to mold the outsole. Is there any way of correcting this without having to remodel the sculpty? and are there any torus objects to use in AC3D?
