Can someone explain How "Share with Group" works? For example, I created an object and someone else wants to work on it as well. I already created a group on my land so only members can work on it, but to allow members to modify objects I need to enable Share with Group? Regardless whether I share with Group am I still the owner?

You're still the owner, yes. Sharing with group allows other members of the group to move, edit, or even delete the object (careful with this), but it still belongs to you.

Also, be careful of accidents; keep backup copies in your inventory. Even in groups of highly advanced builders, people do make mistakes. Just the other day, one of our very talented builders ended up completely retexturing one of my buildings accidentally. What happened was she had drawn a selection box to grab a bunch of her objects to texture them all at once, not realizing that my building was just on the other side of the hill, where she couldn't see it. Imagine my surprise when I logged in, and found my entire building, walls, floor, windows, shadow prims, and all, and been painted bright orange! Luckily, I had a backup, so it only took a minute to fix.

Moral of the story, don't share with ANYONE without taking precautions.

This is where it is also advisable to LOCK items that are already in place! That will at least indicate that one of the selected items is locked, which should let them know they may want to check what they selected before unlocking and making changes.

I am workig on a build right now, and had just placed four buildings on it. I was checking out the view through various windows by camming around inside the building, while standing outside. I accidentally double or triple clicked while trying to focus near the edge of the screen, and ended up taking half the ground floor into inventory! Wasn't hard to put it back, as the existing second floor walls and the left behind doors made good alignment guides. But you can bet I locked all those buildings down right after that!

Oh dear, I guess that feature is really not handy.....Can it be set to only allow certain people on the list to edit and object?

Yup - by making a new group - just for building.
