Still settling in with SL and noticing it's, ah, quirks shall we say.

Try this simple experiment. Create two spheres. Link them. Now using the rotation widget rotate the linkage around the z-axis a bit, say 30 degrees. Now, unrotate the linkage back to it's original orientation using the widget. Cool.

Now TYPE IN that same angle or rotation via the create dialog. Notice anything odd? Yah, the center of rotation is DIFFERENT using the widget then using the dialog.

Why?

How do I make the widget behave the way the dialog behaves.

For the time being. rotation widget and editor use ENTIRELY DIFFERENT rotation centers.

Now I understand why seasoned builders work such late nights: tools wrestling.

Sigh.
