Why does everything that can happen happen to me? I do not know.

Last night, working on my build, the entire porch (which is linked) decided to sort of ghost itself. I was editing it, or trying to, when it became transparent. You could just barely see it, like it was mostly transparent. It didn't say phantom or anything like that. I could still click on it, and click on one linked part of it, but when I tried to change the color of one part, it wouldn't let me.

OK, so I had another porch in my inventory, so I just moved the porch from where it was (thankfully, it let me do that), and put in a new porch. The old porch just sat off the the side, all ghosty looking. (By ghost, I mean it was like mostly transparent.)

Then, in the middle of working on the porch I'd put in its place, it did the same thing! I put out another porch, and this time it stayed.

Any explanation for this?

Any cures?

Got a script in there? Trying to use Edit Linked Parts? Edit Linked Parts has been doing some pretty funky stuff of late.

More than likely, editting this object unlinked will solve all your problems, be they script or bug related.

Out of curiosity, was the texture you used No transfer? I have noticed that no trans textures are being particularly obnoxious - personally i am boycotting all use of them.

Also, the recent update did something funky the day of- some textures were not rezzing, making objects look transparentish or "ghostly"
