Newbie that needs help building!

I just discovered building objects in SL and am addicted. I got a few notecards with instructions and some supplies to build a few things and was wondering where I could find something like this to give me a little more practice. I dont even know what you call them so I can do a search. Would someone be able to point me in the in the right direction to find a few more of these?? Thanks so much!

Try the Ivory Tower of Primitives. If you haven't been there yet, it is a great place to start learning how to build things.

I visited the tower last night and that did help a bunch. What I am specifically looking for is an item to build. For example. Yesterday someone gave me a notecard with instructions on how to build a basic swing. Thats what I am looking for. Some basic instructions to build a specific item to give me practice. Unless they do have those also at the tower and I just missed them.

In search look under events>educational. There are frequent classes that are exactly what you describe, a specific object and instructions on how to build it. Enjoy.
