This isn't really possible.

But maybe you can add a script that will allow users to resize the object on command. It's a messy way of doing things though.

The scripts can be found here: http://rpgstats.com/wiki/index.php?title=LlSetScale

Well, you could have a script that would disable an object if llGetTexture came up with the right answer. Or one that reapplied texture on rez or something.

People could still bypass by going to script disabled land... It depends on what you are trying to accomplish.

wow thx for da speedy responses! i really appreciate it :)

ok so i m guessin this is why people always do "no modify" on things they sell. hmmm... i ve made sum watches and i want people to b able to resize em to fit their av cuz not everybody wants or uses da same size watch. same with clothing. i guess theres no way around this huh... :(

if you're worried about users messing up their watches by playing with the textures.... don't. most users aren't going to want to mess with the part that they like (and if they didn't like the look why would they buy it?) and the ones that would mess with it probably want something slightly different, so you're just allowing them more options. the only real risk is that they could concieveably grab your textures and use them elswhere. (you can counter this some by doing strange things to the prims they're applied to requiring custom textures)
