Greetings all you SL folk... I was looking for help on making pools and waterfalls. Having located the "Waterfall/water" folder in my inventory library I am sorry to say that I have absolutely no clue on how to use them? Can someone please point me in the right direction either to a instructional website, or visit me in game and show me the ropes on how to add water to my pools that i am building? I can't afford to pay you, but i will give you a big hug! Thanks a bunch, SeXXXy Bliss

These are fun! If you're looking for an inground pool, simply lower the land in a small area then put prim cubes in it (buried so the edges arent showing). Apply the water texture to it and you're done. If you want the water to move, go to your library folder, then to the scripts folder, find the one called "Anim Smooth". Drag that one from your library/scripts folder directly onto your water prim cube and watch it start to flow If it flows in the wrong direction use the rotation number under the prim's texture tab and rotate it till it flows the right way. Same thing with streams, just hollow out a channel in your hillside and put the prims in there. Sometimes rocks or vegetation are necessary between prims to hide any joints that just wont line up right. Add particle "mist" scripts to give it a real nice effect for where water might be crashing into other water or rock/ground surfaces. Look me up IW if you want a free copy of the waterfall/water/mist package I was given.

Just an FYI, included in the last update were the "waterfall" packages. These are found under "Library" > "Textutres" > "Waterfalls"
included are all the texture and partice scrips (waterfall) and (mist) in the same folder.

I had the exact same question, and with a simple search I got my answer in shot. So if any other semi-noobs are wondering about this, look no further.
These forums absolutely ROCK!
