Hi All...
I'm by no means an expert in Blender, but was able to create a successful 3d object in Blender and load it into SL. However, two things seem to still be a mis.
First, when I preview the sculpty in SL before uploading, it looks nothing like what I have created in Blender. Hints to what I'm doing wrong?
Secondly, if I upload the sculpty texture, the resulting shape is what appears to be an apple. Both Blender objects were "vase" and "martini glass" shapes. Any idea why these would upload into SL in the shape of an apple? LOL

in the objects tab, did you select sculpted? Like where you would usually change from box to sphere. In there then will be the sculped map. everyone has an apple. click on the sculpty map, and then select the one you uploaded. It will replace the apple's one with your one and change the apple to whatever you have made.

Are you applying the texture in the right place? If you texture it like you would on any other prim, you'll get an apply colored by your texture. A sculp map has to be applied through the sculp-map-selecting tab, not the main texture tab.
