Posted this in another folder but no response. Maybe someone in here knows.

Is there a way to turn off automated tringo shouts so that you don't see the pop up on the screen when you are on a different property than the tringo game?

Thanks

Try this. Go into chat history. If the object that is making th eannouncements is listed... highlight it.. then MUTE it.

Voila.. no more chat spam....

1 thing.. you have to remember to UNMUTE it if you ever do go over to play on the adjoining property.

I think this should work.

If you own the board, it can be changed from a shout to just a say...so then won't travel as far...if you don't, all you can do is mute, which will affect you only.

Would be nice in scripts to be able to yell on the owners (or group) land and stops at the border, but that is not possible.

I wish more people had the sense to do that... it's so simple and causes no problem... some people just throw a hissy fit and call in lindens to threaten game hosts because their chat is being "spammed" by a tringo game...

Thank you for the answer. The mute worked really well.
