Hello,
I made a building with different prims, also some Megaprims. I need to move to another SIM so I selected all the prims of one building and took it into my inventory. Now, I can not rez it back inworld.
It has about 650 prims - some were linked, some not. Some are scripted.
I tried to rez it on my empty Homestead SIM with no prims there.

What exactly happens when you try to rez it?

From: Chosen Few What exactly happens when you try to rez it? I just hear only the rez sound - nothing happens. Tried it also on another Full Region ... same problem.

Are there Linden plants involved? Are you trying to rez on land that you don't own?

Maybe try and rezz a cube first , keep the edit window open and drag out your building.

it could be because your tag isnt up to date, with the sim, maybe if it dont let you build anything might want to check that, if yet if you can build then its prolly, just that you cant set out because either too many prims to be set out at one time, among a few other reasons im sure theres thousands of um...lol hope you get it soon, and good luck homie

Or it could simply be slow. That's a lot of prims to rez at once. If the sim is laggy, or even if it's not, some items simply take a long time to rez. I have occasionally had something as simple as a skirt take several minutes to rez on a laggy sim. I can imagine a 650-prim coalesced object taking much longer than that.

Bummer, Anastasia! One of the builders on these forums uses coalesced objects in excess of 1000 prims quite often, so I am sure the size of your build is not the issue. Similarly, it doesn't matter if you're using megaprims or that there are multiple creators within it.
Are you sure you aren't getting any message when you try to rez it, in chat or perhaps hidden by a HUD? If you are not getting any message, then it is probably something very simple, not a permissions issue. For example, you could be trying to rez it on bumpy land, and the root prim might be ending up below ground?
I would try it again on your empty Homestead, but this time before you try, rez a platform up above the ground, above the level of any landscape feature, and rez it there. Have an edit window open before you rez it (ctrl-3). You could make it a megaprim platform, but I *think* even a 10x10 would do. If you use a megaprim, make sure it is not a "cut" one - things still do not rez reliably on the cut surface of a megaprim.
And yes, be patient. It may take a little time.
